La Fiorita
The strong and highly recognizable terroir, through an exceptional performer like only Sangiovese at Montalcino, has always been the drive of the production of Brunello by La Fiorita. At the beginning the company worked on spotting parcels of land distinguished by a particolar richness of soil and climatic profile in order to plant vineyards according to our own production philosphy, with special selections of clones of Sangiovese planted with high density.
The vineyards currently in production were planted between 1999 and 200; they are the ones of Poggio al Sole and Pian Bossolino, two very different personalities marked out by a different soil, altitude and exposition.
Natalie Oliveros, owner of the estate, has taken over in 2011 and marked the beginning of her ownership with the making of a new vineyard at Podere Giardinello, located in the western side of Montalcino area; this new step makes the grapes available for the future productions even more varied and complex. All vineyards are cultivated with organic method.

Besides Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino 'La Fiorita', the winery has recently introduced 'Fiore di No', a Brunello personally overseen by Natalie Oliveros, and 'Ninfalia', a rosé with intense Sangiovese aromas and a saline character on the finish.
