Beatesca
Born in 1991 from the passion and dedication of Furio fabbri and Benedetta Pasini, Beatesca is the farm that has given new life to a small vineyard, which was almost forgotten in the hills of Montalcino, thanks to the production of Brunello, Rosso di Montalcino and spirits.
Beatesca is named after the daughters of the Florentine couple “Beatrice and Francesca” and, despite its young age and the limited size of its hectares, this winery produces quality wines that have also been awarded the Platinum medal at the “Decanter World Wine Award” in 2019, the recognition with which the English magazine “Decanter” awards the best wines in the world.
Among the characteristics that distinguish them is the search for ever-better quality and the creation of a virtuous viticulture that allows them to achieve balance in the agrosystem and, at the same time, to reduce the environmental impact as much as possible.
Accompanying them on this journey there are the oenologist Roberto Cipresso and agronomist Simone Rossi, who are in charge of the technical side of the business.
The Beatesca farm extends for almost two and a half hectares, the vines are arranged on terraces and take the form of a spurred cordon. The cultivations are exclusively of Sangiovese grosso, used to produce Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, Ilex IGT and distillates.
The wine-making process is carried out in a completely natural way, while the refinement takes place in French oak tonneaux. In order to allow the wine to maintain its structure and authentic expression, it is bottled directly, without undergoing any filtration.
