In Erbusco, Annamaria Clementi buys a little hillside house called “Ca’del bosco” with two hectares (five acres) of land, surrounded by a dense wood of oak. Since ever she represents the inspiration of her son Maurizio. She passes away in 2014.Antonio Gandossi is the farmer of Ca’ del Bosco. He personally plants the very first vineyards including those at high density (10.000 plants per hectar), not exhisting in Italy at that time. He will care about the winery’s vineyards until 2011, when he passes away. The thrilling birth-year of the first three sparkling wines: Pinot di Franciacorta Brut, Pinot di Franciacorta Dosage Zéro and Pinot di Franciacorta Rosé, marketed in December 1978.
