We were so proud of our first Ripasso, produced from the best selection of grapes, that we became the first family to show it on the label. Ripasso is relatively new among the wines of Valpolicella, but the technique derives from the traditions of sharecropping which vary from family to family. Today, it has become a cult wine and is among our most popular classics. The second fermentation of our best Valpolicella base on Amarone pomace gives structure and an intriguing aromatic complexity. Amarone fanatics will find in our Ripasso the characteristic features of a great wine at a price and alcohol content that makes it the perfect daily alternative.
