Piancornello is a small company founded in 1991. It strova in the south of Montalcino, about 250 meters above sea level and has an area of sedimentary orgine, very rich in stones and rocks. The steep slopes, ranging from 4% to 15%, and the land particularly draining for the presence of rock, they give little moisture and obtain very structured wines and minerals. The Piancornello vineyards lie on a beautiful plateau that borders on the south by the river Orcia, after 45 km into the sea, blowing across the valley, going up the river from the hot winds coming from the Mediterranean. These features allow you to have enough early harvests.
