Since 2004, the finest wine shop in Montalcino
Enoteca di Piazza is a family-run business founded in 2004 in Montalcino by the Fedolfi family, now carried on by three generations. Thanks to the passion and dedication of everyone involved, it has grown rapidly to become one of the most important wine shops in the area, with five locations and a traditional tavern.
The historic store in Piazza Garibaldi offers over 3,500 labels and local products, while the Wine Room, opened in 2008, allows guests to taste wines from around 100 wineries every day thanks to the Enomatic system. The experience is completed by the tavern opened in 2014, dedicated to traditional Tuscan cuisine.
Every day 100 wines available for tasting
The Wine Room of Enoteca di Piazza is located in the historic center of Montalcino, at Via Matteotti 43, and is open every day from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, including holidays.
What makes this wine shop truly special is the opportunity to choose every day which wine to taste from 100 different labels. Not only a wide selection of local wines such as Brunello, Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello Riserva, but also Nobile di Montepulciano, Chianti Classico and Supertuscans.

Baietto
A small and charming tavern located in the historic center of Montalcino, with just 35 indoor seats divided into two air-conditioned rooms furnished in traditional Tuscan style, and 16 outdoor seats along one of the town’s main streets, just a few meters from the ancient Town Hall.
La Taverna di Baietto, thanks to its connection with our Wine Room enoteca, offers its guests a much wider wine list than any other restaurant (over 3,500 labels), with bottle prices the same as in the wine shop, with no additional charge for table service.
Le Cocche
A small and welcoming venue located in the heart of Montalcino’s historic center, perfect for breakfasts, light lunches, and relaxing moments, offering a selection of desserts, simple dishes, and local specialties. The carefully designed and comfortable interiors reflect the authentic atmosphere of the Tuscan village, with a few outdoor tables along one of the town’s main streets.
Le Cocche also offers the opportunity to taste a wide selection of local and international wines, including a rich range of Brunello di Montalcino, perfect for discovering the excellence of the territory.
