Molino di Sant'Antimo

Molino di Sant'Antimo is located south of Montalcino, near the village of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, on an estate of about 30 hectares, half planted with olive trees and vineyards and the rest woodland and Mediterranean scrub.

Founder Carlo Vittori, already an established winemaker, bought the first plot of land south of Montalcino, near Castelnuovo dell'Abate, in the 1980s. He later acquired from the Ciacci family the ruins of a 14th-century mill, the Molino di Sant'Antimo, which gives the winery its name, restoring it through a long project to recover its original features.

Brunello di Montalcino represents the winery's finest expression, made from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes subjected to constant monitoring during long aging in oak casks.
