Corte Giara Allegrini
The Corte di Giara winery was established in 1989 by the Allegrini family, already a leading producer of Valpolicella Classica since the 16th century, to produce a new type of wine, young, elegant and ready to drink.
Located in Cavaion Veronese, between the Verona area and Lake Garda, the vineyards of the Corte Giara estate extend over thirty-three hectares on the Naiano estate and are the result of careful selection that takes into account the composition of the soil, the microclimate and the best exposure to guarantee high quality standards.
The processes of growing and processing the grapes combine environmental sustainability, the area’s ancient winemaking tradition and innovative production techniques. Among the innovations introduced in the winery are the refinement in barriques, the reduction of the ageing process to guarantee the authentic flavour of the territory and the creation of new drying techniques for wines such as Recioto and Ripasso.
Corte Giara Allegrini products are modern, elegant red wines that combine refined quality with smooth flavours at affordable prices.
Among Corte Giara Allegrini’s excellences are: Amarone della Valpolicella, Recioto della Valpolicella, Ripasso Valpolicella, Bardolino, Chardonnay, Merlot, Merlot Corvino, Pinot grigio IGT delle Venezie, Soave and Valpolicella DOC.
