Bruno Paillard

Bruno Paillard is based in Reims, the capital of Champagne. Its 25 owned hectares, split across 60 plots, lie in 19 crus of the region, six of them Grand Cru and five Premier Cru, covering about 65% of the winery's grape needs.

The maison was founded in 1981 by Bruno Paillard, who came from a family with old winemaking roots. After years of experience as a wine broker, he decided to invest his first funds, partly raised by selling his own car, to create an independent maison dedicated exclusively to the Extra Brut style.

Annual production, between 300,000 and 400,000 bottles depending on the vintage, is entirely dedicated to the Extra Brut style, a now decades-old stylistic choice that sets the maison apart from most other Champagne houses.

In Italy Bruno Paillard wines are distributed exclusively by Cuzziol, which oversees their import and sale through wine shops and specialist retailers such as Enoteca di Piazza.
