Speri is located in Pedemonte di San Pietro in Cariano, in the heart of Classico Valpolicella, with about 60 hectares of owned vineyard, including the celebrated Monte Sant'Urbano, on soils of ancient volcanic origin.

Who founded the Speri winery? Is it a family business?

Yes: the winery's history begins in the first half of the 19th century with a few hectares next to the Speri family home. Over the years the winery has expanded its holdings into Classico Valpolicella's most highly regarded areas, today reaching the seventh generation of the same family.

Does the Speri winery produce organic wines?

Yes: since 2015, after years of sustainable farming, the winery earned organic certification for its entire production, including the celebrated Valpolicella Classico Superiore Sant'Urbano, made from Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Molinara and other native varieties grown on pergola.
