Cerbaia
Cerbaia was established in 1979 in Montalcino as a result of the passion for the land and for viticulture of its founder, Fabio pellegrini, with the aim of creating an authentic product, capable of expressing the natural flavour of the wine and its terroir.
The estate covers twelve hectares, four and a half of which are planted with vines, on the north-west side of Montalcino and includes woods, vineyards and olive groves.
The composition of the soil, rich in clay and poor in Miocene, the warm and dry climatic conditions and the scrupulous attention to which the grapes are subjected, allow Cerbaia to create elegant and harmonious wines, characterised by intense and rich aromas.
Each stage of the production process is carefully and meticulously controlled, from manual harvesting to vinification in stainless steel tanks and refinement first in Slavonian oak casks and then in bottles.
Among the excellences of the Cerbaia farm are the Brunello di Montalcino and the Rosso di Montalcino.
