Celestino Pecci was born in 1968 in Montalcino and takes its name from the man who, with passion and sacrifice and with the help of his family, has managed to make a name for himself on the Italian wine scene, winning important awards such as the “Top 100 wines of Italy 2020” by James Sucling or the silver medal awarded to two of his wines by Decanter.

Tradition, love for one’s own land and a deep respect for nature… these are the elements on which the Celestino Pecci winery is founded and which are also found in the vineyards, one of which is named after Maddalena, Celestino’s mother and symbol of his origins.

Today the company is run by his daughter Tiziana who looks towards the future with the same passion as her father.

The vineyards extend on the south-west side of Montalcino, are cultivated exclusively with Sangiovese grosso and take the form of a spurred cordon.

The harvest is carried out manually and every process is aimed at maintaining the authentic flavour of the wine and the terroir in which it originates.

The excellent wines of the Celestino Pecci Winery include: Brunello di Montalcino (vintage, in the “Poggio al Carro” or Riserva versions) and Rosso di Montalcino.
