Inside the box you will find: 6x Brunello di Montalcino Lisini 2020 – A deep ruby red wine with a subtly ethereal bouquet, showing notes of tar, forest floor, tobacco, violet and vanilla. On the palate it is dry yet soft, full and harmonious, with firm backbone and an aristocratic texture.
6x Brunello di Montalcino Val di Suga 2021 – An intense wine with a complex structure. On the nose it opens with notes of ripe red fruit, spice and delicate hints of vanilla. On the palate it shows remarkable balance, with soft tannins and an enveloping freshness, leading to a long, mineral finish.
Two great interpretations of Brunello: this box brings together two historic Montalcino wineries. Lisini, one of the oldest wine estates in the area, produces in Sant’Angelo in Colle an elegant, well-structured Brunello with an ethereal profile. Val di Suga, located north of Montalcino and part of the Angelini family (Bertani Domains) since 1994, offers instead a softer, fruitier and more elegant Brunello. A selection perfect for discovering, glass after glass, the many souls of Montalcino Sangiovese.
