Owned by the family since 1960 Ripaccioli is still conducted at the household level. By capitalizing on the work started by his father Ilano in the seventies, the 1995 harvest marked the first production and consequent commercialization of Brunello di Montalcino. Azienda Agraria Le Gode, the business center and winery are the result of a careful restructuring of the characteristic farmhouse in the Tuscan tradition. The winery is also equipped with the latest technology placed at the service of a traditional production philosophy. The wine is made in stainless steel tanks with capacities from 50 to 75 hectoliters and temperature controlled. The consequent aging stage takes place in the cellar where , in an appropriate environment, the Brunello di Montalcino in barrels with an average capacity of 25 hectoliters Slavonian oak, for a period that varies according to the vintage, but still not less than two years, matures and evolves.
