The Cesari winery was founded in 1936 by Gerardo Cesari and is one of the first Italian wineries to export its wines to the world.

Among the elements that have always distinguished the company are a passion for the land and a spirit of initiative, two factors that have led Cantina Cesari to soon achieve the dream of seeing its Amarone compete with the best Italian and international red wines.

Today, just as then, Cesari continues to dream of ever more innovative goals that perfectly combine tradition and technology to produce elegant, harmonious, balanced wines that respect the environment.

The vineyards of the Cesari winery extend over about thirty-five hectares, divided into four different parcels:

– Bosan, located in the area of San Pietro in Cariano, cultivated with Corvina and Rondinella;

– Il Bosco, situated in the south-eastern area of Valpolicella, cultivated with Corvina and Rondinella;

– Cento Filari, located in Peschiera and Pozzolengo, cultivated with Turbiana and Chardonnay;

– Jèma, located in the municipality of Sant’Ambrogio, cultivated with Corvina.

The farm’s two cellars have been built taking into account the needs that allow the wine to preserve its authentic flavours and high standards. From this point of view, great attention has been paid to the ageing phase, which takes place in an underground cellar with constant humidity and temperature.

Among Cesari’s excellences we find: Amarone Classico il Bosco and Amarone della Valpolicella (also in its more prestigious Riserva version).
