The special exhibition of Villa Poggio Salvi allows obtaining a Brunello of great value and finesse, from Sangiovese grapes harvested by hand with great care. Importantly, the fact that the winemaking cellar is located adjacent to the vineyards, this allows little time lag between harvesting and crushing avoiding any unwanted departures of fermentation of the grapes and problems of breakage during shipping. The main features, namely the special intensity in the perfumes, the quickness and the harmonious roundness in tannins and the long aftertaste, are the result of the peculiar soil and climate of the vineyards from which it comes.
