The La Fornacella company, owned by the Ciacci family, is located in Montalcino in Tuscany in the south-eastern area at an altitude of about 300 m above sea level.
There are three vineyards in production, one in Montalcino adjacent to the cellar and two in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, in the Sant’Antimo abbey area, about 400 m above sea level. The latter, due to their conformation and the characteristics of the land, add power and character to the elegant and fruity grapes harvested in the vineyard at La Fornacella.
