This Rosso dei Barbi is a Toscana IGT that demonstrates how the Fattoria dei Barbi, historical reality of the Montalcino terroir, is perfectly capable of passing from more demanding and full-bodied products, such as the excellent Brunellos known all over the world, to lighter wines , young and carefree, just like this Red, always guaranteeing an excellent quality standard. A wine in which the integrity of the fruity notes is enhanced, also thanks to an aging that is carried out only in steel, where the drink is carefree and casual. A decidedly versatile bottle, an excellent companion to the table.

Rosso dei Barbi is made by Fattoria dei Barbi starting from different clones of Sangiovese planted within the company's vineyards. After the strictly manual harvest in order to select only the best and most expressive bunches of the territory of origin, the grapes undergo alcoholic fermentation on the skins, remaining for about 10 days in steel; the refinement is then carried out in these steel containers, which lasts for a few months, until the moment of bottling.

Rosso dei Barbi is a wine that reveals itself in the glass with a color that recalls the brilliant ruby. The set of scents that envelop the nose has fresh notes of red fruit, embellished with slight hints that recall sweet spices. On the palate it is light and slender in body, with a structure that makes use of a refreshing sip and a barely hinted tannic texture.
