The grapes are vinified in stainless steel tanks with daily pump-overs and delestage. In the glass, the wine displays a ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it reveals aromas of forest fruit jam along with spicy notes of vanilla. The palate is warm and smooth, with velvety tannins and a long finish. Its characteristic deep red color and the richness of its bouquet are the result of extended aging in fine oak barrels from the Tenimenti Angelini cellars. With a powerful yet elegant flavor and notable aromatic persistence, it pairs beautifully with roasts, game, and medium-aged cheeses. - 1x Poggio Nardone Rosso di Montalcino 2022
This wine has an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. It is dry with good structure and freshness, accompanied by pleasant aromatic persistence. Intense and delicate aromas of fresh fruit with notes of cherry.
The Wineries
- Bonacchi: Equipped with state-of-the-art vinification and bottling facilities, Cantine Bonacchi has been producing, vinifying, bottling, and marketing the finest Tuscan wines for three generations from its location in the heart of Montalbano.
- Val di Suga: The story of Val di Suga began in 1969 when a company owned by Aldo Moro acquired agricultural land in northern Montalcino and built a production and commercial facility. Over time, these lands, initially used for forage production, were gradually converted into vineyards. By 1982, Val di Suga began producing wine, equipping itself with a modern winemaking cellar.
- Poggio Nardone: Founded in 1996 by Tiziano and Alessandra, this winery is located in the southernmost part of lands inherited from their grandfather, who was one of the 25 founders of the Brunello di Montalcino Consortium.
